Features
 |
Easy to Implement
As business needs change,
applications can be very easily revised – often within minutes.
Administration tools allow non-programmers to quickly configure an
application for wireless access. |
|
 |
Access to Multiple Data Sources
Complex data consolidation and
integration is solved with intuitive point-and-click utilities. In
addition, create unique applications to access HR, CRM, Finance,
Accounting or any combination of systems as your data sources. |
|
 |
Summary and Detailed Views
Two-tiered data results offer
summary views of information as well as individual, detailed records.
Access to data is optimized for small displays, by providing users with
just the information they need in easy-to-read formats. |
|
 |
Fax and Forward Options
With the click of a button, users
can forward data to an email address for collaboration or access at a
later time. In addition, data and documents can be directed to a fax
machine for hard copy review. |
|
 |
Access Control and Permissions
Users can be assigned to one or
more groups, allowing administrators to quickly define a single,
consistent access control policy. Administrators can assign groups the
rights to read records at a view or record level. The Infinite Open Data
Connector seamlessly integrates with the Infinite Mobile Delivery Server
for user authentication and account administration. |
|
 |
Anytime, Anywhere Access
Applications are available via Web
browsers, Internet enabled phones and other wireless devices. The same
ease of implementation, use and access control features exist across all
delivery channels. The user interface is tuned for the constraints of
wireless devices. Everything from logging into the application to acting
on data has been optimized to deliver maximum value with a minimum of
bandwidth. |
|
How It Works
The Infinite Mobile Delivery Server is the central
processing engine for all the Infinite connector modules, which provide email
access, voice messaging, and data access. The Infinite Open Data Connector is
a platform on which enterprise data applications can be built, and it provides
access to important business information from any browser-enabled wireless
device. Several easy-to-use tools are provided to make structuring, managing
and mapping data a simple drag and drop operation.

Front-End Administration
Tool (FEAT)
FEAT is a web-based application that offers non-technical
managers the ability to create interactive applications to meet their
department’s specific business requirements. Administrators use FEAT to manage
critical functions such as user maintenance, data updates, data imports and
view rebuilds with little to no support from IT staff.
Back-End Administration
Tool (BEAT)
BEAT is a client server application that allows the system
administrator to define data structure, manage data sources and map data using
simple drag and drop actions.
Access Control
The Infinite Open Data Connector’s access control is
role-based, rather than a simple on/off security option. Access control can be
used to create broad groups of users, allowing a single view to serve the
needs of many user groups. In addition, administrators can assign groups the
rights to read records at a summary view or record level. Support for industry
standard encryption ensures the confidentiality of data, from both the desktop
and wireless devices.
