Secure Information is accessed at the source account, eliminating the need for creating redundant mailboxes that create inherent security risks. SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) and TLS (Transport Layer Security) are used to ensure data encryption and secure transmission of information.

Real-time Information is accessed in real-time from the wireless device, eliminating the need to synchronize data on the device. Information is reviewed and updated on the user's source mailbox so the central message store is always up-to-date. Messages that are created and deleted are updated directly to the user's electronic mailbox.

Infinite Voice Connector Extends the functionality of Infinite Enterprise Mail Connector by providing voice reply messaging options and text-to-speech email conversion. With the Infinite Voice Connector, users can read email messages on their Internet-enabled mobile phone, then simply reply to the sender with a voice response - a much easier task than typing a response on the telephone keypad. Using Real Speak, a text-to-speech engine, the system converts email messages to speech, allowing users to listen, forward and respond to messages using any touch-tone telephone.

HOW IT WORKS

The Infinite Enterprise Mail Connector can be installed onsite in a corporate environment to provide corporate users with wireless access to their existing Internet-based mailbox. Depending on customer security requirements and preferences, the Infinite Enterprise Mail Connector can be installed inside or outside of the corporate fire-wall. Security is handled via SSL and corporate users can safely continue to use the email system with which they are most comfortable. Direct access into the email system provides enhanced security because users are never forwarding or replicating messages to an external non-secure mailbox.

Access email through a Web browser

The Infinite email connectors also allow users to read, respond to, create, and manage their email from any computer that has a Web browser such as Netscape, Opera, or Microsoft's Internet Explorer. Users do not need a dedicated email application on a remote computer. This interface is called WebMail. No client installation is necessary. The administrator performs all system administration tasks directly from the Mobile Delivery server. In addition, because the Infinite email connectors access your company's email database directly, remote email activities (reading messages, deleting messages, creating messages, etc.) are reflected when the user returns to the office. From a Web browser, the user simply enters the uniform resource locator (URL) of the Mobile Delivery server. Once logged in, users can read, send, and manage their messages. The email .client. that people see is comprised of Web pages written in HyperText Markup Language (HTML) and transmitted via the HyperText Transport Protocol (HTTP).

Access email Through a WAP or cHTML (i-mode) Compatible Device

The Infinite email connectors also allow users with wireless phones or other devices that are compatible with the Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) to create, reply, forward, and delete their email messages directly from their wireless devices. The Mobile Deliver server uses the Wireless Markup Language (WML) and compact HTML (cHTML) to transmit the messages and other information to the device.
